Ghana legend, Asamoah Gyan has been named on the substitute bench of Legon Cities FC for the team's clash against Medeama SC this evening.
The two top-flight clubs are locking horns at the Accra Sports Stadium this evening for a Matchday 3 fixture of the ongoing 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.
Signed in the off-season on transfer deadline day, Asamoah Gyan missed Legon Cities' first two games of the new season as a result of some fitness issues.
Now looking in better shape, the former Black Stars captain is on the verge of marking his debut for his new club after being named as one of the substitutes for this evening's encounter against Medeama SC.
If the lethal finisher comes on, this will be his first outing in the Ghana Premier League since leaving Liberty Professionals some 17 years ago.
