Legon Cities interested in former Hearts of Oak coach Kim Grant

Ghana Premier League side Legon Cities have expressed interest in hiring former Hearts of Oak coach Kim Grant after a slow start to the 2020/21 season.

According to Ghanasoccernet.com, the ex-Ghana international is on the verge of returning to the top-flight after opening talks with the Royals.

The Royals approached Kim Grant on Sunday as a replacement for Goran Barjaktarevic who was sacked on Saturday following an abysmal start to the season.

Legon Cities have failed to win any of their opening two games after losing 3-0 to Great Olympics on match day two.

They were held to a disappointing 1-1 stalemate against Berekum Chelsea in their league opener.

Grant, who has vast coaching experience both locally and internationally, has now been approached to help the side improve on their performances despite the big purchases they made before the start of the season.

He has previously managed Ebusua Dwarfs, Elmina Sharks and Hearts of Oak.
