Leyton Orient's head coach, Richie Wellens, has commended the versatility and goal-scoring abilities of Ghanaian forward Dan Agyei.

Wellens believes that, at the age of 26, Agyei still has the potential to consistently find the back of the net.

Agyei recently signed a two-year contract with Leyton Orient, an English League One club, after completing a successful spell at Crewe Alexandra.

Having faced Agyei three times last season, Wellens was thoroughly impressed by his performances and was eager to secure the forward's services to bolster the team's attacking options.

"Of all of the opposition last year he was probably the standout player, and with a really good return in terms of 16 goals at Crewe," said Wellens.

"He scores all different types of goals, using pace, power, a good left foot, and scores headers."

"At 26 years old he's at a good age, and we think he can kick on."

Dan Agyei was named Crewe Alexandra's Player of the Season after his impressive campaign.
