There is a unique clause in the Lionel Messi contract which can make him miss out on any Paris Saint Germain (PSG) games. The Ligue 1 club cannot use the striker service because of Argentina duty.

After the fall of Barcelona, the 34-year-old chose to move to a French club in order to maintain his professional career. The movement also ended a strong relationship with Catalan for 21 years.

Then, the player was offered an initial two-year contract with an option another season last month. Lionel Messi seems to enjoy his time with an enormous salary around €25 million per season.

The debut of an ex Barcelona captain seemed wonderful when PSG beat Reims on Monday, (30/08). Sadly, he came to the pitch as a substitute player, replacing Neymar without contribution in goal.

However, his intention to play in another Ligue 1 games will be interrupted for a while. According to TyC Sports, La Pulga will not participate in another PSG match because of international duty.

He already accepted the contract with one condition, the national team had the highest priority other than the club. In summary, he is willing to stay in his state in any international game at first.

The importance of Argentina's achievement seems over Lionel Messi's head for now. Apart from this clause, PSG will be expected to host Ligue 1 matches against Clermont on Saturday.
