Good evening and welcome to the live text coverage of the first match of Matchday 3 fixture of the ongoing 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season between Legon Cities FC and Medeama SC.
The Royal club aims to record their first win of the campaign as they prepare to host the Yellow and Mauve side at the Accra Sports Stadium later this evening.
Legon Cities FC has been disappointing so far, drawing their first match with Berekum Chelsea and losing 3-0 to Great Olympics. Legon Cities are currently bottom (18th) on the log.
Medeama has also started in a disappointing fashion. The Mauve and Yellows drew their first match with Great Olympics and suffered a defeat to Dreams FC in their most recent fixture. Medeama is currently 16th on the table.
The two teams will hope to make their fans happy with a win to get their campaign on track.
In their last four meetings, Legon Cities have managed two victories with Medeama also recording two victories.
