Liverpool legend Dalglish: Difficult to sign players in January

Former Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has said that it is difficult to sign players during the January transfer window.

Though Dalglish feels that there is no harm in terms of looking to bring in reinforcements in January, he feels that players should not be brought to a club for the mere sake of it.

"There's not too many top players that come available in January. There are some," he told ESPN FC on Wednesday evening.

"But it doesn't necessarily need to be a top player. If you think he's better than what you've got and he's available then you go and get him.

"The window is coming up. There'll be some activity. As usual, it'll probably be the last two days where it's all crammed in.

"There's no harm in not doing business in January -- if you're happy with what you've got then just leave it.

"I don't think it's important about the money that you spend. I think it's important who you buy."
