The Merseyside club need to mend their 'seriously damaged' relationship with the 25-year-old.
Coutinho claimed he did not wish to play again for Jurgen Klopp's side as he looked to leave for Barcelona.
While a back injury has also kept him sidelined of late, Liverpool and Klopp have not attacked Coutinho.
The view is both club and manager want to move on quickly.
