Ludogorets forward Bernard Tekpetey reacts after scooping Best foreign player award in Bulgaria

Ghana international Bernard Tekpetey has shared his excitement after winning the best foreign player award for 2022 in Bulgaria.

Since joining the club, he has established himself as a key cog to Ludogorets.

Tekpetey has been instrumental for Ludogorets, who currently sit second on the league table with 47 points after 18 games. They are one point behind log leaders, CSKA Sofia.

The 25-year-old has scooped the best foreign player award in Bulgaria for his outstanding performance in the top-flight.

“Thank you so much for this award, I will say thanks God and thanks to everybody who recognized me as one of the best as well, I say God bless each and everyone. Thanks to my Sporting Director as well for bringing me to Ludogorets”

He has scored 10 goals and provided 7 assists in 33 matches for Ludogorets.

The enterprising forward joined the Bulgarian giants in 2021 from German side Schalke O4 on a two-year deal.

Despite his exploits in 2022, the forward was omitted from the Black Stars for the World Cup tournament in Qatar.
