Luiz convinced Conte wants him out of Chelsea for being Diego Costa ally

Chelsea defender David Luiz believes manager Antonio Conte wants him out of the club.

Luiz, reports The Times, feels he's being punished by Conte because of his friendship with Diego Costa.

Conte dumped Luiz to the stands for Chelsea's win over Manchester United on Sunday.

Luiz acted as the peacemaker numerous times last season in a bid to heal the rift between Costa and Conte - but it all proved in vain as the striker was sold back to Atletico Madrid.

Conte was unhappy with Luiz's reaction to being substituted in the 3-3 home draw with Roma and gave him a training ground ticking off a few days later.

It was then on Friday when it was decided Luiz would be dropped for Andreas Christensen ahead of Sunday's win over Manchester United.
