Malmo FC suspend Kingsley Sarfo amid rape charges, unpaid two months salary

Malmo FF have suspended Ghanaian midfielder Kingsley Sarfo from the team and denied two months salary following damning rape allegations against the Ghanaian. 

The 22-year-old is facing prison term in a dramatic turnaround which threatens his promising career.

The Ghanaian has been accused of having sex with underage girls on several occasions with the club initially lifting a ban imposed due to the shocking episode and he is currently facing prison term which has threatens his promising career.

Chairman of Malmo Håkan Jeppsson has confirmed the former IK Sirius midfielder is not being paid his monthly entitlement because he's not working.

"He is not being paid now because he is not working.

"We are dry on our feet, therefore we keep payroll payments on those who are working.

"If you are not employed, you can not receive compensation. It's the same with injured players.

"We will do everything possible to assert the club's and our members' right in this matter, of course," says Jeppsson to Sydsvenskan.
