Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan is upbeat over his injury recovery.
Gundogan is in the final stretch of his rehab from long-term knee injury.
He told Sky Sports: "I'm near a return and I'm improving.
"I was able to be part of the team in the United States. I'm still in shape and I don't feel a lack of confidence in myself. Especially when it comes to a long-term injury it is difficult to always be positive and always motivated.
"It's a very challenging situation, but I think I can handle it and now I'm at the end, not too far from the return."
