Man Utd Braced for Possible Interest in 10 First Team Players Ahead of January Transfer Window

Manchester United could be set to receive transfer bids for as many as TEN of their first team players in the January transfer window, according toManchester Evening News.


Memphis Depay, Morgan Schneiderlin, Matteo Darmian, Marcos Rojo, Ashley Young and Sam Johnstone are among the players listed as generating interest from other clubs, while the likes ofDaley Blind, Marouane Fellaini and FrenchmanAnthony Martial are also being looked at.

Bastian Schweinsteiger, however, isthe only player United are willingly looking to offload, even while rumours are rife that he could return to the club's first team for Wednesday's EFL Cup clash with West Ham - for the first time under Jose Mourinho.


Dutchman Depay has struggled to make a mark in England since joining the club from PSV in the summer of 2015, and both he and Schneiderlin have been linked with potential moves to Ronald Koeman's Everton. Darmian is reportedly wanted by a number of Italian clubs, thoughMail Onlinealso report today that Rojo is being eyed up by Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen.

Bayer have previous in signing players from United for cut-priced fees following their signing of Javier Hernandez, and are eyeing a similar raid for the Argentinian. He had started the season out of Mourinho's plans, but has made his way back into the first team fold in recent weeks because of injuries to key defenders.


Rojo arrived for £16m from Sporting CP in 2014, and United are reportedly keen to recoup as much of that sum as they can in any decision to sell.
