Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola claims Yaya Toure is good enough to play for another'big club', as speculation about the midfielder's future continues tointensify.

Toure's contract expires in June and with City yet to offer him a new deal, the 33-year-old could be set to leave the Etihad this summer after enjoying a relatively successful seven-year spell at Eastlands.

The former Ivory Coast international appears to have re-discovered his best form under Guardiola this season, that's despite being left out of the squad at the start of the campaign due to a rift between the player's agent and the manager.

With their relationship seemingly pieced together again, Guardiola has publicly stated that both parties will discuss Toure's future at the end of the season, but should the midfielder choose to leave the club, his boss has claimed that he is good enough to virtually pick his next destination.

The Spaniard told theMirror:He can play for big, big clubs.

He can play wherever he wants. He has a big personality and this season, he is helping me by playing top, top football.

He will play football until he decides because he loves playing. He enjoys playing and loves playing games.

When that happens, he will decide. The focus now needs to be on winning games and competitions. We will talk about everything else at the end of the season.

Having been brought back into the City side in late October, Toure has made 21 appearances so far this season, finding the net six times along with providing a further two assists to his teammates.
