Maritzburg Utd chief rubbish report linking club with a move for Felix Annan

Chairman of South African club Maritzburg United, Farook Kadodia has rubbished reports linking the club with a move for out of favour Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan.

The highly-rated shot-stopper started the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season as the starter for the Porcupine Warriors but lost that privilege after Matchday 4.

In the last 12 hours, he has been linked with a move to South Africa to join Maritzburg United.

Reacting to the news in an interview with Ashh FM, chairman for the PSL side, Farook Kadodia has noted that it is not true they have an interest in the Kotoko captain.

“It is not true that we are interested in Felix Annan. The moment we have space for him, it is the only moment we will look at him. We haven't spoken to anybody or the club about him”, he stressed.

Annan remains focused with Asante Kotoko but is likely to secure a move elsewhere at the end of the season if his situation with the Reds does not change.
