Olympique Marseille chief Andoni Zubizarreta has explained his recent visit to Barcelona.
Zubi visited his old club, along with Bayern Munich, sparking fresh transfer rumours.
"To learn how to operate the best at all levels, from players to the TV rights through marketing, ticketing... that's why I was there," said Zubi.
"I have experience, but I want to know the specifics of each market. When Rummenigge (the president of Bayern) gives you first-hand information, you listen to it. If I were only looking for information about a player, I would send an SMS to Michael (Reschke, Bayern technical director).
"There will be other visits, to an Italian club and the Premier League."
