Bayern Munich star Mats Hummels has given an insight into the club's training regime and how the players' days shape up over the course of the Bundesliga's winter break- and it all seems rather cushty to say the least.
Speaking at their winter training camp in Doha, as reported by theclub's website, Hummels revealed that while time is at a premium for the German champions' top footballers, it's not quite the toughest of lives for a footballer.
Hummels: "I have found myself very well at #FCBayern, I've been very consistent with the performance, I can be absolutely satisfied."
On his rest and recovery, he said:"We don't have that much time. I always sleep for about an hour after the first training session. After all I'm not getting any younger and I need that!
"In the evening we play a round of cards and then the day is over already. We eat three times a day and train twice."
Poor Mats. It's a hard life getting paid seven or eight figures and having an hour's nap in the day.
