Legon Cities head coach, Maxwell Konadu is confident his outfit will escape relegation.

The Royals secured an all-important win in the matchday 33 games on Sunday against Elmina Sharks at the Ndoum Stadium.

Goals from Benjamin Boateng and experience James Bissue were enough for the Cities to secure all the three points.

Speaking in a post-match presser, Konadu praised his players on how they controlled the game in the early stages and did the job by getting all three points.

"It was a good game. We controlled the game in the early stages of the first half," he said.

"It's unfortunate we couldn't take our chances. We will do everything to win the last game and be safe. We will escape relegation.

"We haven't changed a lot, we decided to continue the work being done.

"It's unfortunate things are not going how I wanted it but we will surely escape relegation," he added

The Royals are currently found 15th on the league log with 39 points and will host Eleven Wonders in their last game of the 2020/21 season at the Accra Sports Stadium.
