Information reaching footballghana.com is indicating that Medeama Sporting Club has priced midfielder Justice Blay at $200,000 in the wake of interest from the Ghana Premier League record holders.
The combative midfielder spent the last year playing as a loan player for the Porcupine Warriors but had to return to his parent club at the beginning of this month when his deal expired.
During his stay with the Kumasi-based outfit, Justice Blay proved his quality as he established himself as one of the best players of the team under different managers.
With reports suggesting that Asante Kotoko wants to sign the midfielder permanently from Medeama SC in the next transfer window in a bid to boost their squad for next season, the Tarkwa-based club has reportedly named their price.
It is understood that they have slapped a fee of $200,000 on the midfielder and will only let him go if the Reds cough out that amount of money.
It is unclear whether Asante Kotoko’s newly constituted board will be willing to pay the cash especially with the ban on transfer by His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II still in place.
