Memphis named in Best XI of Euro qualifiers

Memphis Depay has earned a place in the best team of the European Championship qualification after playing an important role in the oranges qualifying series. 

the 25-year-old made the list after helping the Dutch national team qualifier to the European championship for the first time since 2014 at a major tournament, the left winger who has been deployed in Lyon  as a striker scored six times and recorded eight assists.

The European football association UEFA put together an 'ultimate' team, based on the individual performance of the players. Depay, has been in the company of English attackers Harry Kaneand Raheem Sterling.

He left PSV Eindhoven to join Manchester United in 2015 but failed to impress in the Premier League and was offloaded to Lyon in the winter transfer window of 2017.

In the second half of the 2016-17 campaign, the Netherlands star directly contributed in 13 goals in as many starts in the Ligue 1. Next season, he started 28 league games for Lyon and directly contributed in no fewer than 32 goals.

The Dutch star has already made 51 appearances for the senior national team and scored 19 goals.
