Finnish club EIF has announced the signing of former Liberty Professionals midfielder Enoch Kofi Adu on a free transfer.
He spoke to his new club via video link from Hamburg. Adu has had a long and successful professional career, most recently in Swedish Mjällby AIF. He has also played several junior internationals and one men's international for the Black Stars of Ghana.
"I am very happy about a new challenge. I have heard that Herretta is a good series and I am very excited to play in EIF," Adu told club officials
"I am a professional player and want challenges. Now this felt like the right step," says Adu, who was born in Ghana, but now has Swedish citizenship.
"I have had a good and fine career and I am very happy that I got to experience a lot. And afterwards it will be quite nice to look back at games in, for example, the Champions League," he added.
