Most Ghana Premier League players are better paid than sport journalists - Nana Oduro Sarfo

Executive Council Member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Nana Oduro Sarfo beleives most players playing in the Ghana Premier League are paid better than Ghanaian sports journalists.

The veteran football administrator in recent times has dominated the local media for the wrong reasons.

The salaries of players in the topflight have been questioned many times due to the unattractiveness of the money.

However, the Chief Executive Officer of third-tier side, Port City, speaking in an interview took a swipe at sports journalists.

According to him, players in the Ghana Premier League are paid better than journalists.

“Sometimes I wonder when you sport journalists talk about salaries of Ghana Premier League players because most of them are paid better than you,” he told Accra-based Angel TV.

Nana Oduro Sarfo recently described Black Stars captain, Stephen Appiah as a frustrated person and must return to the classroom to acquire knowledge if he wants to hold any position in football.
