Liberty Professionals defender Yusif Mubarak is expected to sign for Ashanti Gold on Monday.
The budding central defender was a pillar at the back for the Dansoman-based club last season as he featured in all thirty games helping them to escape relegation.
Mubarak confirmed that all is set and baring any hitch, he will join the Miners today (Monday).
“Talks have been concluded and everything is well, I will sign for Ashanti Gold today (Monday)baring any setback,” Mubarak told footballmadeinghana.com
“I am looking forward to playing for Ashanti Gold, it has been fantastic three years at Liberty and I hope I can continue with it at Obuasi,”
Mubarak joined Liberty Professionals in the 2015/2016 season and rose to become a leader at the back of the scientific soccer lads.
He was the only defender in the Ghana Premier League last season who was never booked.
