'My players played against Dreams FC as if there was nothing at stake' - Samartex Coach Annor Walker

Annor Walker, the coach of Samartex FC, expressed disappointment in his players' performance after their 2-0 loss to Dreams FC in the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League week 27 game on Sunday in Dawu.

Walker criticized his players, saying they played as if there was nothing at stake. "It is a painful defeat when I look at how my boys played today as if there was nothing at stake. This is not the way we play.

"I can't recall the second round when we played good football, sometimes we lose, but it's part of the game," he told Happy FM.

Dreams FC opened the scoring in the 20th minute, courtesy of a goal from their young talent, Ali Hufaz.

The Still Believe outfit then went on to increase their lead in the second half, with Godfred Atuahene finding the back of the net in the 70th minute to double their advantage.

Despite the loss, Samartex FC remains in 9th place on the league table, while Dreams FC has climbed out of the relegation zone and is now 13th on the league log.
