Nana Ampomah’s potential exit from Fortuna Dusseldorf in limbo after testing positive to Covid-19

Published on: 19 August 2020

A potential transfer away from Fortuna Dusseldorf has become nearly impossible for winger Nana Opoku Ampomah after testing positive to the Coronavirus disease in Germany.

The youngster joined the German club in the summer transfer window of 2019 from Belgian Jupiler Pro League outfit Waasland-Beveren.

Unfortunately, Nana Ampomah could not replicate the same form he displayed in Belgium for Fortuna Dusseldorf in the 2019/2020 football season.

Although he can argue that injuries set him back, many believe he could have still done more. With the club suffering relegation at the end of the season, the attacker has seen clubs chasing his signature in the ongoing transfer window.

However, after testing positive to the Coronavirus disease last week, reports picked up by your most trusted online portal has revealed that any potential move is now in limbo.

Meanwhile. Nana Opoku Ampomah has taken another Covid-19 test and is awaiting the result to know his status. If it comes out negative, the forward will join his Fortuna Dusseldorf teammates to continue training in pre-season.
