Nana Yaw Amponsah tight lipped on contesting for upcoming GFA presidential elections

The Chief Executive Office of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah has refused to confirm if he will contest for the upcoming Ghana Football Association (GFA) presidential elections.

The Kurt Okraku-led administration will see their come to an end in October later this year.

Elections are expected to be held later this year with Kurt Okraku expected to seek reelection.

Former Western Regional Football Association chairman, Kojo Yankah has declared his interest in contesting for the upcoming elections.

Quizzed if he will contest for the elections, Nana Yaw Amponsah said, “I don't know tomorrow but for me, I want to finish my job at Asante Kotoko cleanly and when we get to the bridge we will cross.”

Bankroller of Ghana Premier League side Berekum Chelsea, Bernard Nana Yaw Amofa Jantuah has also confirmed his interest in contesting for the presidential elections.

Meanwhile, the leadership of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) are yet to release a roadmap for the upcoming elections.
