Nation FC tactician Kasim Ocansey Mingle has expressed his disappointment following his outfit stalemate against Bofoakwa Tano in the Ghana Premier League.

The Premier League debutants played out a 2-2 draw with the Sunyani-based club on Sunday at the DR. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

Bofoakwa Tano opened the scoring after 15 minutes into the game through Charles Mensah as the visitors went to the halftime break with the advantage.

But Nations FC responded quickly with the equalizer just a minute into the second half of the game through Barimah Baah.

The visitors found the back of the net again through Emmanuel Boateng to restore their lead in the 83rd minute mark but Prince Acquah scored in the 86th minute to ensure his side escape defeat.

“I’m disappointed. We should have scored about six or five goals. We had the chances including a penalty but we missed them all” he said after game.

Despite defeat, Nations FC still remain second on the Ghana Premier League table after 26 matches so far this season.

The Abrankese-based club has 44 points, trailing leaders, Samartex by five points.
