New Edubiase president confirms Salim Adams will join MLS side FC Cincinnati next season

Hearts of Oak midfielder Salim Adams is expected to join Major League Soccer outfit FC Cincinnati at the end of the season.

The 18-year-old who joined the Phobians on loan from Division One side New Edubiase United before the start of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League campaign has excelled.

His impressive performance has attracted a chunk of clubs in both Europe and America.

However, according to the president of New Edubiase, Abdul Salem Yakubu who doubles as the agent of Salim Adams, his client will join FC Cincinnati next season.

The youngster joined Hearts of Oak on a one-year loan from the Division One Club this season.

In an interview, he disclosed that Hearts of Oak partnership with Hoffenheim and Cincinnati played a role in Salim Adams move.

He explained that Hoffenheim showed interest in signing the Ghanaian youngster but Cincinnati presented a good offer which has been accepted by the parties involved.
