New Edubiase United coach Sherif Mambo calls for security and fair officiating ahead of Holy Stars clash

New Edubiase United coach Sherif Mambo has urged football authorities to provide adequate security and ensure fair officiating in their upcoming clash with Holy Stars in the Division One League.

Mambo's call comes after New Edubiase United secured a 1-0 win over Elmina Sharks at the Len Clay Stadium, which propelled them to the top of the Zone Two table with 38 points. Kofi Boakye Yiadom's 37th-minute goal was enough to earn all three points for the home side.

Meanwhile, Holy Stars dropped to second place after drawing with Skyy FC. With tensions running high ahead of the crucial encounter, Mambo has stressed the importance of a secure environment and unbiased officiating.

"Actually what we will need is security to help let everything go on very well and also get fair officiating the person who will come and handle the match should not bring any problem," he said.

"If we get all these we are sure New Edubiase we will bring victory to Obuasi," he added.

The highly-anticipated clash between the two top teams in Zone Two is expected to be a fiercely contested affair, with both sides eager to maintain their promotion push.
