Following the takeover of Techiman Eleven Wonders by new owners Seedorf Soccerlink Academy Agency, they have decided to change the name to Techiman Benfica FC.

This comes on the back of a meeting between officials of the Techiman based club and the new owners at the Palma Hotel in Accra on Monday, June 17, 2019, where a conclusive agreement was reached.

In attendance at the meeting was FIFA Licensed Agent Mr. Seedorf Asante and Fred Opoku who is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Seedorf Soccerlink Academy. For Techiman Eleven Wonders, club Vice President, Mr. Yaw Ameyaw led the delegation and was accompanied by the club secretary and their Accra rep.

Having signed the necessary documents, the new owners now have the power to steer the affairs of the club towards ensuring that every goal they set is met in the near future.

Meanwhile, it is believed that the main agenda of the new owners and the partners involved is to develop youth football in the region and also expose the young talents to the international world of soccer.

They are expected to have a big launch in the coming days to unveil the new name to the people of Techiman as well as the football community.
