Barcelona face a battle to keep hold of midfielder Carles Alena.
Sport says Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez is targeting the Spanish youngster.
Alena made his debut this season under Luis Enrique and scored in the Copa del Rey against Hercules with a belting strike from distance. He was the Barcelona B player most used by Lucho.
According to the report he has ordered his scouts to follow Alena closely.
