Neymar's father has become the latest person to be up in arms over Fernando Torres' recent head injury sustained against Deportivo La Coruna.

The former Liverpool striker challenged for the ball with Deportivo'sBergantiños, but the holding-midfielder's challenge was too strong, knocking Torresunconscious.

Panic spread at theRiazor stadium as Torres had to be escorted off the pitch in an ambulance before being taken straight to hospital. Luckily for Torres he escaped serious injury.

The injury prompted Neymar's father to recall a time in 2014 when his son suffered a similar challenge at the hands ofZuniga.

"A strong scene !!" he wrote on Instagram."My son has already been a victim, everyone knows, in a similar move in the 2014 World Cup.

"And since that unforgettable date for me, I've been asking how much arbitration will allow such bids to occur, where an athlete uses a UNPROPORTIONAL and unnecessary force, from behind, completely taking away the possibility of defence of the athlete who suffers the load.

"Again a bid like this occurs and not even a yellow card is shown ... How many athletes should be injured until this type of bid is banned from football ???? It's my turn for the prompt recovery of @fernandotorres. @neymarjr @institutoneymarjr"
