Nike Flight HI-VIS is the new Serie A TIM Official Ball, in the high-visibility version, which will be used during the winter months on the pitches of Serie A TIM and the Coppa Italia, starting with Empoli-Genoa, the match scheduled for Friday 5th November at 8.45pm and which will open the twelfth matchday of the championship.
The period of use of the Nike Flight, which in these first 11 matchdays has been the protagonist of 338 total goals (42 on penalty kicks), is therefore momentarily over.
The white ball went into the net for the first time at the "Giuseppe Meazza" Stadium in Milan with the goal scored in the sixth minute by Inter defender Skriniar, in the match won by the Nerazzurri against Empoli on 21 August. The last goal was scored by Marko Arnautovic in the 96th minute of Bologna-Cagliari 2-0 on 1 November.
Empoli's Guglielmo Vicario is the goalkeeper who has made the most saves with Nike Flight (42), while Lazio striker Ciro Immobile has been the top scorer, with 9 goals in 10 appearances.
