No GFA official has EVER impose a player on us, says Black Stars assistant coach Didi Dramani

Assistant coach of the Black Stars, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has reiterated that no official of the Ghana Football Association has ever imposed a player on the technical team of the national team.

Over the years, the hierarchy of the country's football governing body has been accused of imposing players on the technical team and influencing player call up to the various national teams.

Didi Dramani, who joined the Black Stars technical set-up before the World Cup playoff games against Nigeria in February has praised the relationship between them [Black Stars technical team] and the FA.

According to him, no official of the FA has ever imposed a player on the technical team.

He however added that the President of the FA, Kurt Okraku, can only share only his opinion but not to interfere in their work.

"Let me say that there has never been any interference from the GFA President, Kurt Okraku since we were appointed," the former Asante Kotoko gaffer told Graphic Sports.

"No official has ever imposed any player on us so far. He (Kurt) can only share his opinion like anybody else, but he has never imposed any player on us," he emphasized.

Otto Addo, who is the head coach together with Didi Dramani, George Boateng, and Chris Hughton masterminded Ghana's qualification for the 2022 World Cup.
