General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Prosper Harrison Addo has praised coach Otto Addo for doing a good job when he was in charge of the Black Stars as its captain.

The gaffer was appointed to take charge of the national team last year when Milovan Rajevac was sacked.

Although his competence was doubted, coach Otto Addo managed to qualify the Black Stars for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, beating a star-studded Nigeria Super Eagles side in the final playoff round.

Speaking to Asempa FM in an interview, Prosper Harrison Addo has stressed that no one can convince him that Coach Otto Addo was a bad coach for the Black Stars.

“Ghanaian Coaches are good and are appreciated outside the country.

“No one can convince me that Otto Addo was a bad coach,” the Ghana FA General Secretary said.

At the moment, Coach Chris Hughton is in charge of the Black Stars.

The Irish-Ghanaian tactician has won one match and drawn another in the first two matches since he took over.

In June, the gaffer will lead Ghana into the next AFCON qualify against Madagascar.
