Nordsjaelland star Ernest Nuamah has urged Ghanaians to fill the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Tuesday when the Black Meteors host Algeria at Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the reverse fixture of their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier.

Ibrahim Tanko’s Ghana U-23 national team needs to avoid conceding if they are to draw to qualify for this year’s tournament in Morocco.

They drew 1-1 in Algeria last Friday in the first leg, securing an away goal advantage.

The 20-year-old speedster, who played his first game for Ghana at any level, is delighted and is calling on fans to fill the stadium tomorrow.

“I felt really good. It was amazing feeling on the pitch. This is my first time wearing the national team jersey; I’m very proud,” he said in a GFA promotional video.

“I know the city of Kumasi they love football; they really watch football. We want everybody to come here and support us. Hopefully we are going to win and qualify.

“People of Ghana and Kumasi people, everyone should come and support us.”
