Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Ghana Berekum Chelsea, Obed Nana Kwame Nketia believes GFA Normalization Committee will not know their line of duty assigned them should they tender in a petition to FIFA for an extension of tenure.
The Normalization Committee were offered a time frame of 6-months to put Ghana football on track, run day-to-day activities of the Association and organise election for new executives of the FA. Since assumes office four months ago, there has been no roadmap to bring the country's football back to normalcy.
The Committee has till March 30, to leave the office since their tenure expires exactly that period. However, source close to the four-member Normalization Committee that were instituted by FIFA reveals they will request for an extension when the six months given to them to execute their mandate elapse.
But Football arbiter Obed Nana Kwame Nketia believes it will be unearthing of the Committee ignorance in the task put before them. "I believe GFA Normalization Committee knows exactly what they're doing". As far as they know their left from right when the six months is up,they will depart the place".
"If they ain't able to finish by that period, then they're ignorant and have no clue what their mandate in office is about", he told NL Radio Station in Accra.
The Normalization Committee with barely two months to evacuate the office, inaugurated interim committee's to assist on executing their duties during the week.The ad-hoc committees have three to four weeks to put before the committee their researched proposals.
