OFFICIAL: Defender Samuel Frimpong signs 2-year contract extension deal with Asante Kotoko

Ghanaian giants, Asante Kotoko have confirmed that defender Samuel Frimpong has signed a two-year contract extension deal with the club.

The player’s contract with the Porcupine Warriors outfit was set to expire at the end of May 2021.

Due to his importance to the Asante Kotoko team, officials have successfully convinced him to commit to a new contract.

In a post on the Twitter page of the Ghana Premier League record champions, they have confirmed that Samuel Frimpong has inked the dotted lines of the offered contract.

“Defender Samuel Frimpong has extended his contract with the club to 2023.

“Well done, Samuel Frimpong,” a statement from Asante Kotoko said on Monday.

This season, the 23-year-old defender has played various reds for the Reds in the 21 appearances he has made.
