The MTN FA Cup is one of the most highly anticipated football tournaments in Ghana, attracting some of the best teams and players in the country.

In the latest edition of the tournament, Nsoatreman coach Abubakari Mumuni has come out to praise the level of officiating, stating that it was fairer than what he had seen in the Ghana Premier League.

Nsoatreman FC will face King Faisal in the FA Cup semi-finals on Sunday at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese.

"We've had good officiating with our FA Cup games vis-a-vis the Premier League,” Abubakar said during the FA Cup presser on Thursday.

“We've won three away games in the FA Cup enroute to the semifinals of the competition and there was none that was won through penalty shootouts,”

“The officiating officials have been very solid and firm and that makes the competition exciting,"

The game on Sunday will be officiated by referee Gideon Nii Coffie. He will be assisted by Theophilus Akugre and Isaac Pinto. The match commissioner for the encounter is James Adjei.
