Black Stars forward Osman Bukari had his first training session with Austin FC after finalizing his move to Major League Soccer.

The 25-year-old signed a three-year deal as a Designated Player with the Verdes, transferring from Serbian champions Red Star Belgrade in early June.

His arrival in Texas was postponed due to his participation in international matches with the Black Stars during the World Cup qualifiers.

Bukari received a warm welcome in Austin last week but was unable to play in the match against Sporting Kansas.

The speedy winger joined his new teammates on Monday for training in preparation for Sunday's game against New York City.

"Getting started and focused as usual. Alhamdulilah for everything," Bukari shared on social media after his first practice.

The former KAA Gent player is anticipated to make his MLS debut against New York City, marking the beginning of his journey in the American Soccer League.
