In a resounding declaration of the nation's dedication to nurturing a vibrant football environment, Kurt Okraku, President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), asserted that their unwavering commitment remains steadfast.

As the curtains lifted on the grand stage of the launch of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League, Mr. Okraku's resolute words echoed through the air, reverberating with a promise to cultivate a dynamic environment for the beautiful game.

The vibrant city of Koforidua played host to the official launch.

The launch was attended by President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku and Mark Addo, Vice President of the Association.

Executive Council Members Nana Sarfo Oduro and Linford Asamoah Boadu were all present. Eastern Regional Minister Hon. Seth Kwame Acheampong was the special guest of honour.

"Indeed I am very honoured to stand before you as we launch a new season of the Ghana Premier League," he said.

"A momentous occasion that embodies passion, dedication, and unity that forms the material part of our national identity. Our commitment to fostering a dynamic football environment is unwavering.

"And as I speak to you I am thrilled to witness the beginning of another exciting chapter in the Ghanaian domestic football with the launch of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season," he ended.
