Our performance hasn’t been bad – Samartex General Manager Edmund Ackah reflects on GPL campaign

The General Manager of Samartex, Edmund Ackah has assessed the performance of his outfit in the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign.

The Sameraboi-based club are currently 8th on the league standings with 42 points after 30 matches into the season.

In an interview with Asempa FM, the former Kotoko management member expressed satisfaction about the performance of his side in the domestic top-flight.

“The Premier League is different from the Division One. My target was to qualify Samartex to the Premier League and it happened”

“Our performance has not been bad in the Premier League. after qualifying to the top-flight, we augmented the team with players like Larry Sumaila, Emmanuel Keyekeh and others who have experienced in the league” he said.

The Ghana Premier League will go on break for the FA Cup semifinal games this weekend.

Samartex will travel to Kumasi to face King Faisal in the week 31 fixture next week.
