Jordan Ayew squandered a great chance to give the visitors the lead.

The Black Stars forward saw his shot go wide of David de Gea’s post when it looked easy to score.

"I feel really sorry for him but I'm really disappointed for him because he deserved to score the goals that he created."

Vieira also praised the forward's work out of possession and the way he held the ball to get others into play.

Jordan Ayew is currently not having any joy in front of goal for club and country. Jordan's dry spell has prompted Prince Tagoe to urge Ghanaians to support Jordan Ayew to overcome his poor form in front of goal.

Ayew hasn’t scored a goal this season and his last goal for the Black Stars came in March when he converted a penalty in a 3-1 win over Sao Tome and Prince in 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Accra.
