PAOK defender Baba Rahman believes Ghana have quality to win 2021 AFCON title

PAOK Thessaloniki defender, Abdul Baba Rahman is confident Ghana can win their fifth Africa Cup of Nations title in Cameroon next year.

Ghana finished top on Group C table of the 2021 AFCON qualifiers with 13 points to book a place in next year’s Nations Cup.

CK Akonnor's side has failed to the AFCON since 1982, despite being at the finals of the tournament on three occasions (1992, 2010 and 2015).

"It’s difficult to say (we can win the AFCON). With Ghana qualifying for the AFCON, it looks like a mere formality…because since I’ve been with the Black Stars, I don’t think we’ve struggled to qualify for the nations cup," Baba Rahman told FootballMadeinGhana.com.

"We’ve been saying to ourselves (in the past) that this is the time we have to win it but I think we need to properly plan everything.

"Get ourselves serious and I think the necessary things are done, Ghana have the quality and hopefully we can win it this time around. That is my dream," he concluded.
