Partey and Fosu join Black Stars camp ahead of Ivory Coast clash

Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey and Brentford winger Tariqe Fosu have joined the Black Stars training camp ahead of their friendly clash with Ivory Coast.

Partey was excused by coach CK Akonnor and the FA and was allowed to return after Ghana played Morocco away from home. The Black Stars missed his presence as Morocco clinched a 1-0 victory.

The former Atletico Madrid man is expected to play a part in the upcoming game against Ivory Coast and hopefully make a huge impact.

Fosu is also expected to do same as Ghana aim to please its fans on Friday at the Cape Coast Stadium.

Tariqe Fosu's side Brentford secured promotion to the Premier League after beating Andre Ayew's Swansea in the playoff final. Partey's Arsenal had a disappointing league campaign, placing 8th.
