Paul Pogba Is Starting to Believe That Manchester United Are Cursed

Published on: 28 November 2016

Halloween may have been almost a month ago but Paul Pogba's superstitious beliefs aren'tgoing anywhere; forwhen it comes to finding who orwhat's to 'blame' for United's recent form, whilemost point the finger atUnited's Europa League commitments orspeculate as to whether or not Jose Mourinho is still 'special', Pogba fears that the club might be cursed instead.

After finallyregistering his first Premier League assist of the season, despite creating 23 chances, Pogba may have broken a curse of his own. This, unfortunately for United, was not enough to help them avoid a fourth consecutive home draw which leaves them in 6th, 11 points behind league leaders Chelsea.

That EL is a killer!! Always has been and always will... Twitter please educate me on a team that's excelled in the league and been in it.

In an interview reported byThe Mirror, Paul Pogba said: "We're going to start thinking we're cursed. It doesn't matter which team comes here, we dominate them, be it Arsenal or West Ham."

Pogba bemoans the manner in which United have been struggling, commenting that the side have been 'dropping silly points'. Without back-to-back Premier League wins since August, it's easy to see why the world-record signing is frustrated.

Regardless of United's current form, the Frenchman remains confident that United can turn their season around. With 163, United have created the 4th most chances in the league this season and willquickly turn their fortunes around if they can convert more often - suggesting that the £89m man'sconfidence seems to be more than simplyblind faith.

Pogba went on to say: "Our luck will change at one time or another and it's then that we'll have to take it. I'm still confident because we create chances. It will come. I'm confident in my team.

"We just have to pay attention to the small details," he said. "Today we conceded a daft goal, against Arsenal it was also the small details.

"I'm still confident it will come right. We are dropping silly points, but it will come."
