Bibiani GoldStars defeated Legon Cities 3-2 in their Ghana Premier League match week 25 game, played at Dun's Park on Monday afternoon.

The match drew a massive crowd, defying the trend of low fan attendance in the league this season. Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak have been the worst affected by this drop in attendance.

However, Bibiani GoldStars has seen an incredible turnout at their home games, and Monday's match against Legon Cities was no exception. The home crowd was a significant factor in the win as Bibiani GoldStars secured a hard-fought victory.

The match got off to a flying start as Abednego Tetteh scored calmly in the second minute to give Bibiani GoldStars the lead.

After conceding, Legon Cities put tremendous pressure on the home team, and in the 9th minute, Ebenezer Amegah scored the equalizer. Seven minutes later, Eric Osei Bonsu capitalized on Joseph Baah's mistake to make it 2-1 for the visitors.

Bibiani GoldStars bounced back when Charles Gyamfi Kamara brilliantly headed in Emmanuel Appau's cross for the equalizer.

Abednego Tetteh scored his second goal of the day, taking advantage of Gyamfi Kamara's cross to give the home team a 3-2 advantage heading into halftime.

Legon Cities threatened to abandon the game due to a disallowed goal, but they returned to continue. The win put Bibiani GoldStars in sixth place on the Ghana Premier League table with 38 points, while Legon Cities remain in 16th place with 28 points.
