Hearts of Oak midfielder, Abdul Aziz Nurudeen has commenced his rehabilitation programme en route to making full recovery.

The highly-rated midfielder last week went under the knife in South Africa to deal with an injury that has ruled him out of action for months.

After a week, he has now started rehabilitation as medical officers help him to get back on his feet.

While he is expected to spend some time on the sidelines, the player is confident he will be joining his teammates very soon.

In his absence, last weekend, Hearts of Oak lost 3-0 to AS Real Bamako in the first leg of the tie in the second round of the preliminary stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Ahead of the second leg on Sunday, October 16, Abdul Aziz Nurudeen can again only watch from his base in South Africa.

He will be hoping his teammates are able to overturn the result at the end of the second leg.
