Ghana Premier League outfit, Legon Cities FC have commenced pre-season training as the team gears up for an improved performance in the 2021/2022 football season.

The club nicknamed the Royals last season struggled to compete for the most parts of the season.

Although coach Bashir Hayford did well with the team, he was shockingly pushed aside for coach Maxwell Konadu to take over.

Bringing in new ideas, players did not adapt in time and as result the club survive relegation by a slim margin.

It took the side all they had on the final matchday of the Ghana Premier League where they defeated safe Techiman Eleven Wonders 3-2 to escape the drop.

Hoping for a better campaign next season, Legon Cities FC have started pre-season training early.

Head coach Maxwell Konadu did some work with the team on Monday and is doing same today as well.

Training is expected to intensify as the weeks go by with a few players expected to be signed to augment the squad of the team.
