Ghana Premier League side, Samartex FC are looking forward to a good campaign in the 2023/24 football season.
The Ghanaian top-flight club on Wednesday commenced pre-season training as part of preparations for the next football season.
Since then, the squad of the team has gradually stepped up training in a bid to get players into the best of shapes and in good condition for the challenge that awaits the team.
Last season, Samartex FC performed well in the Ghana Premier League although the team had some difficult time in the first round.
The good fight of the team saw the side finish the season in the 10th position on the league table.
Next season, Samartex FC will hope to improve on that finish by fighting for a place in the top four.
The new Ghana Premier League season is scheduled to kick off on September 15, as indicated by the Ghana FA.
