Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi posed for photos together with the new leadership of African football after his appointment today as CAF 1st vice president at the Sheraton Hotel in Manama, Bahrain on Monday..

Nyantakyi joined new CAF president Dr Ahmad and Costant Omari, the second vice president.

Nyantakyi, who is a CAF Executive Committee and FIFA Council member, is said to be the trusted man of the Malagasy as he masterminded the election victory for Ahmad in Ethiopia last month.

ZIFA and Cosafa president Philip Chiyangwa has also been appointed the new vice chairman of AFCON games.

Chiyangwa will deputise Nigerian President Amaju Pinnick who was appointed President of AFCON and media Committees.
